Dove of Peace

A Happy Marriage

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ― Lao Tzu

Living in Harmony

Radha-Krishna

The Non-Aggression Principle is the happy marriage of two beautiful ideas. It is the harmonious union of freedom and nonviolence, of anarchy and peace. It is the joyful interplay of male and female, of yang and yin.

As with all healthy marriages, both partners flourish in the presence of the other. They are nourished and sustained, elevated and fulfilled. Together they are more than their sum.

Like men and women, freedom and peace are not opposites. The diminishment of one is not required for the enrichment of the other. Instead, each one complements the other, enabling both to blossom and grow.

It is a beautiful thing to behold: the joyous union of two vital ideas in harmonious balance. Peace prospers among those who love liberty. Freedom flourishes among those who love peace. This is the essence of the NAP, and when nurtured, nourished and allowed to flourish, this joyful marriage bestows blessings and benefits to all.
